Welcome to our 13th Edition of Her Story Magazine. Our front cover is Claire McCarthy is a writer, director, producer, and visual artist. Claire is an Australian-born, London- based filmmaker.
Claire has been making short films, music videos, documentaries and feature films since 2007. Her films have screened at International festivals.
Her most recent film, The colour room starring Phoebe Dynevor and Mathew Goode, was released theatrically accross Europe and US and on Sky cinema. She is co-writing and directing Faithfull based on singer and poet Marianne Faithfull’s autobiography. Claire has The personal History of Rachel Du Pree which she has adapted from the novel of the same name and which she will direct with Viola Davis’ JuVee producing.
